How to Make a 45-Minute Bus Ride Last 4 Hours

I take a bus to work every day. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes, give or take, most often give. On Thursday the trip home took me 4 hours though. It was enlightening, so I thought I would share it with you. There is a bit of luck, mostly bad luck, involved in making this happen. Hop on the bus, and just assume that it is your bus. It is parked in the same spot as usual, right? If the bus driver is not the same bus driver, don’t think that is anything strange. The usual bus driver could be busy with million other things. I Love My Job

I have been working at the new job for about four months now, and I love it! I haven’t had a day yet that I didn’t want to go to work. Specifically, here is a list of things why I enjoy my new job more than the old one: I don’t have to travel. I used to travel to California, Colombia, and Mexico at the old job. Now my traveling is limited to a daily bus trip to work. Specially now with the whole swine flu going on, I am happy I don’t have to spend time on the plane. I would often come home sick from a trip. The…

He is very nice, and once in the elevator I asked him if they would sue someone for touching somebody else’s mail box. He said that probably not but that there was a case of a teenager who smashed a mail box with a baseball bat that happened to belong to a federal judge. One unlucky teenager, that was taken as an assault against the federal judge and the boy got in trouble. Lesson learned; only bust ordinary…

    I’ll be home for Christmas

I just returned from Bogota, Colombia, from a work trip. This time I flew through New York, JFK. That is a mistake. If you ever can, don’t go to New York, except if you really have to. I prefer Atlanta. I love the little train system and you can get a nice walk if you want to and have time by not taking the train. You won’t get lost if you walk. JFK airport, however is quite different. I can see how they tried to make it more cozy or whatever by making little “towns” and connecting them with corridors. But you can lose your sense of direction really easily.…
