In the building where my job is (for a couple more days at least) there is a legal department of the US postal services. There works a dude who was quite big. He is very nice, and once in the elevator I asked him if they would sue someone for touching somebody else’s mail box. He said that probably not but that there was a case of a teenager who smashed a mail box with a baseball bat that happened to belong to a federal judge. One unlucky teenager, that was taken as an assault against the federal judge and the boy got in trouble. Lesson learned; only bust ordinary people’s mailboxes.
The postal lawyer dude must have gotten his stomach stapled, though, because he has lost a ton of weight. He looks really good when I saw him today. I’ve seen him with a suit jacket. Today was a casual day, I guess and he was wearing a sporty vest.
So, my hats off to you, postal lawyer dude for losing all that weight and upgrading your wardrobe!
